El inicio de este recorrido empieza desde la salida de Cusco en bus a las 9:00 a.m. Aproximadamente, con la dirección de Cruz Pata ubicado cerca a Chinchero, en este lugar empezaran el recorrido en bicicletas, pasaran por una carretera asfaltada y también pasarán cerca de la laguna de Huaypo.
Después tomarán un desvío que les llevará hasta el Centro Arqueológico de Moray, donde podrán ver las impresionantes terrazas agrícolas que fueron utilizadas como un laboratorio agrícola por la Cultura Inca. En este lugar descansan para que disfruten del box lunch que se les ofrecerá y luego continuarán, en descenso rápido, hasta llegar a el pueblo de Maras, donde bajarán por un camino simple hasta las salineras de Maras, finalmente llegarán hasta el puente Pichingoto y retornaran a la ciudad de Cusco, llegando alrededor de las 5 pm aproximadamente.
Esta fácil excursión de unos 35 km en bicicleta aproximadamente, en pequeños caminos sin dificultades le dejará un recuerdo inolvidable.
